Testing a FireFox Plugin

Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007

Here goes my test for a Plugin in for Firefox.  It is called PFF, which is a plugin designed by Performancing to make life easier on people who write on their blogs often.

I always thought that it was a pain to have to login in to the blog, and then click a few links just to write a quick note.  Now I just have to click a button, type away and click publish, then I am done.  Very much faster….I hope.

Well I am sure that this is going to work, and if it doesn’t you would never of read this…Anywho, I am off.  If you like FireFox and have a blog try the plugin…its free.

The Regilion War - Scott Adams

Monday, December 18th, 2006

Yesterday I sat down and read The Religion War by Scott Adams. The book is something of a sequel of God’s Debris, which you can read for free here or buy it from Amazon here. I recommend that you read God’s Debris first but you really don’t have to. The Religion Wars does a good job of letting you know what is going on.

Both books are thought experiments and are very detailed. The plot of The Religion War is that there is about to be a HUGE war between the Christian Alliance and the Muslims. Bascially both sides feel that the war is going to happen and really there is nothing that can be done to stop it. However the main chacater in the book, Avatar knows that there is. And he knows that there is the prime influencer that he has to get to. The Prim influencer is the one person that makes everything inteh world happen. Basically if he changes that one persons mind the world will Re-Boot. And it works, sort of…..

You have to read the book to know what I mean by sort of, it is only a three hour read so it is great for the person that has a really short attention span. So pick you The Religion War today and then let me know what you think

The Legend of Zorro

Thursday, November 10th, 2005

I saw this movie on the past weekend, Jess and I were trying to figure out what to do and decided to go to a movie. Well “The Legend of Zorro” was our choice, well actually I think that it was mostly my choice.

To get started it really wasn’t all that bad, but it was LONG. I found myself looking at my watch before the movie was over, this was something that I didn’t do for movies that were longer than this. However I think that you can chalk that up to the fact that the story wasn’t really that strong. It had everything that you need in a movie like this, and for me at the time I felt that it was more of a propaganda movie than some that I have seen in the past, can’t think of one right now but I will post it when I think of it.

All in all I think that it is a good renter, don’t waste the money at the theatre, I think that there must be better movies to see on the big screen.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Wednesday, August 10th, 2005

Last night I went kicking and screaming to “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and I must say that I enjoyed it. The main reason that I was thinking that I wouldn’t like it was that I liked the old version with Gene Wilder called Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. However the 2005 version with Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka was very different than the old verison, but very true to the spirit of the story.

Like I said I was very skeptical when going into the theatre, I had no idea what to expect. One thing was for sure, Johnny Depp made one freaky Willy Wonka. Willy was one of the better characters that I have seen in a movie for a while, and Depp played him very well. All in all I think that this movie is worth the money for the ticket and at the very least it is worth renting when it comes out on DVD.

Anyway, go out and see this movie, I don’t think that you will be disappointed
