My new Canadian DIGG clone

Monday, August 28th, 2006

Some tool that I wrote myself as an addon to www.thepartylive.com. It is similar to Digg where you can submit stories, and give them a thumbs up or down. The rate that they are given a thumbsup determines the ranking on the front page.

It is still in the preliminary stages, but I think that it is stable enough to go live. So check it out at www.thepartylive.com/forums/tplnews.php

If you are registered you can submit stories to be added and you can vote on them. If you are not registered what are you waiting for. Just please don’t put in single or double quotes ‘ or ” I haven’t written something that will clean the descriptions yet and you will get an SQL error. I hope to have that bug fixed in a week when I have more time to spend on it.

Let me know what you think and if there is any features that you would like to see added.
